Hey
why the hell would -insert bike building company here- do anything to save us as consumers some money.

How they hell could they rip us off at the spare parts counter if they made bikes with parts that didnt break.

Therefore if they fitted the bike with the radiator protactor from the factory they would lose money.
And at the end of the day they build what they to sell them and make money.

Still don't get the whole two log ons bits.
spose if you want to make personal attacks and cheap shots while hiding who you are then its the way to go.

Ohh i thought this thread had died long ago but its back in production, well by the sounds of the spur modifications they will become a necesary evil because the chipseal will chuck rocks all over the place.

I really don't know. Some of the older bikes are, and touring bikes seem to be, but perhaps it doesn't fit in with the sports philosophy or something. There's a GSX250 Across and a ZZR250 sitting in the garage right now that have them fitted as standard, and the old '95 - '97 ZX6R had them fitted as well from memory (well, I know mine did anyway).
With the way the supersports/hypersports market is they are trying to save every tenth of a gram they can find and you dont need a radiator protcter on the track so they dont fit them.

Standing on the side of the road in a pool of coolant isnt what bikeing is all about but the latest sportsbikes are more track orientated.

Hey its a interesting thread if you read it end to end i missed half of it when it got nasty.

radiator gaurd

I fitted the gaurd Ponticat sold me,shit hot!, it looks great and will do what it is supposed to,it would be easier with two people{was told that!} but no real trouble, half the price of others and quality is excellent, cheers Brett and thanks.
