I'd say more than a few... I reckon that until you are at least comfortable with your bike don't move up and stay in the novice group for at least one more track day. There were 3-4 bikes out there that clearly had no idea...

Here, this is most of the footage I have from you guys! As you can see, nothing to be ashamed of AT ALL! We were lapping mostly in the 13-14 with the odd 15 in there too. Overtaking around the outside was the biggest hurdle I reckon... without it, traffic wouldn't have been as much of a factor. By the end of session 6 I was doing 10s with traffic and even dipped into the 9s a bit! :kuda: Unfortunately my phone run out of battery, so no idea about session 7.

I like Phil's move at 3:40 around the outside of old mate and on the white line to squeeze past. :kuda: I also noticed he then pulled away through the next couple of corners to the back straight. ;) :P I was surprised to see just how much more acceleration the 6 had over the ZRX's down the straight too. Nice vid Ed! Thanks for putting that up. :kuda:

I know, right?! Nice moves... ;) The next corner where he pulls away is where I crashed twice on my last (and also first) track day at WP back in April. To say that I was a bit traumatized would be an understatement... lol It did get better towards the end of the day though.

The 6 doesn't have more acceleration I reckon, it's just that I've shorten the gearing on my bike whilst his is still OEM. I was even overtaking cbr1000's on the straight! hahaha but all road bikes, so really no fair! The Brutale gave me a run for my money though. Not sure what engine it had in it (750/910/1000/1078/etc...) but it was neck and neck.

The Brutale was a 1090R - and they are FAAAST ;)
