For a bike that had an effective model run of 6 years (the B series barge doesn't count) that finished at least 5 years ago, you've got to say the 9r is punching above it's weight to be second only to the 10r and to out-number 6r's, 12r's and the Ninja 250 (one of the biggest selling bikes of the last couple of years). Go the 9r.

the 10 has had one year less than the 9 on sale but its ahead... i think the 10 is better....

and the 7 is the last kawasaki to win them a world championship in SBK

Fair nuff but as pointed out the 9 has'nt been on sale for 6 years now, how many 10 riders would have got another 9 if they were still available Also, having spent 2 days on a 10 recently thanks to Aitkens an F model 9 with the 10's engine, gearbox & FI would be a pearler So would a ZRX1400R but thats a whole new story

That just erminded me of Mat Mladin on the ZXR750R at Mallala!!!! Now that was an inspiring ride! I think that lap record stood for a long time from memory. Correct me here if Neccessary Road captain!

We all know that the 12R will come past you at a rapid rate of knots, still you all think (unbelievebly) that those pissant 10's are good. It is all rider dependant, and no one has ever said that on here....

Until you have had the 9, 6, 12 and the 9 again experience how can you ever judge a 10? Well farked if I know, ridden a few, aint owned one......Too highly strung for the road IMO in my test....do tell
