I might come out on Saturday instead of Sunday (will try for both but don't like my luck).. A bit of support on both days would be good..
and the kids are hassling me about screwing up there long weekend.. its a bit of a one way street that..

I'm off the chain Saturday morning so I might head out for a while.

Went out today and met Corey and his family. Great bunch of ppl racing on a very tight budget.
Corey got 2 4ths in the first 2 races and was less than 1 second off the fastest time. He set a pb in race one and will no doubt improve over the weekend.
Not sure if I'll be out there tomorrow, but for those that can, make sure you go and see them and say hello and help out if you can...

I spoke to Tim about the KSRC sponsorship and he was onto it, with plenty of mentions in the commentary throughout the day and probly the same tomorrow....

One of the interesting events was the near punch up in the pits, right next to us, between Craig Trinder and Michael Mcmillan (I think)... It was full on, loud, abusive and quite entertaining... A lot of yelling and push me shove you.. but no blows...

both got called to race control for a chat..

Haha awesome

I was hoping to get out there for Sundays races but I won't have time to scratch myself tomorrow. So unfortunately I won't be able to go

Great work to all that are attending and glad to hear the donations are helping.
Good stuff ksrc

I wasn't able to get out there but watched a bit of the online streamig on the Sunday. The commentators gave KSRC a heap of good promotion during Sunday's race, unfortunately Corey seemed to have bike issues and retired from the race.
Cheers,
Mick.

Not a good weekend for Corey.
Started out great on Saturday but Sunday went pear shaped with electrical problems in race 1 and a human error problem in race 2 (forgot to put spacer in front wheel) causing 2 DNF's. Very unfortunate and he ended up 2nd in B grade.
These guys could really use some help to keep them racing as Corey certainly has the talent to do well..

Could we possibly do a Corey T shirt run, price them a little higher than normal and push the proceeds into a fund to help keep him going. It'd be kind of like having our own World Vision kiddy but quicker and less emaciated

Definitely like to help these guys, Sunday was real disappointment for them..
Turned out he had no spacers in the front wheel for the first race as well, which he was in 4th place in front of Olsen on the Factory Yam for the first few laps, he also set a pb of 1.32.4 and was only .5 of the fastest time of the day. It had some front end shudder but then blew a fuse and shut down.
The 2nd race the spacer problem became more evident, with the shudder that bad, he lost the front brakes.
Went in leading B grade by 19 points, but the 2 dnf's cost him 50 points....

Its a shame they had such a bad day, They were really positive about winning this season
I will put my hand up to help out when possible but I have a pretty busy year judging by the calender which is filling fast already.
