speeding (travelling to fast for the prevailing conditions or above the posted speed limit) is a major factor in about 40% of all road deaths, regardless of experience. research has also shown that the risk of a crash causing injury or death increases rapidly, even with small increases above an appropriately set speed limit. the feeling of being confident in more and more challenging situations is experienced as evidence of riding or driving ability, and that "proven" ability reinforces the feeling of confidence. confidence feeds itself and grows unchecked until something happens e.g a near-miss or an accident :kuda: :kuda:

I'm guessing this is a stab at my earlier post? not much i have to say to a racist who struggles with the english language himself!!!!! So you obviously don't consider it DANGEROUS for someone to wipe out a whole family in a head on crash due to the fact that they were speeding.....
.sorry if you got affended+i can't spell for shit and not racist but honest!

The cops should go after people who do not go fast enough. Plenty of times people going 80km/h on straight 100km/h highway for no apparent reason (not in an old bomb, good weather etc.). Most of the time they speed up in overtaking lanes because they either dont want people to overtake, or feel more confident with 3 lanes. It makes people do stupid things to get past them. Fine them, or if they cant drive highway speeds, tear up thier licence.
Let the good times roll.
