Who are they Rob?? I may know them?? Young is after all an overgrown village!!

Hey BM, thanks for that! I'm not quite moving on as yet!! The move was more out of neccesity than a desire to move on!!! :x However, my daughter and grandson are a sensational diversion as you say!!! :D :D :D :D He's so gorgeous and he looks just like his mum!!!!! :D :D :D I'm not biased at all of course!!!!! :D :D :D

My little girl is really excited to have me home though!! When I walked in today, her partner nudged her in the ribs and laughed as he said in a song song voice....."Your daddys here!" 8) Apparently she hadn;t shut up about having me home! It's so nice to be loved again!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

On a lighter note Marty .. imagine still being in WA with no root AND no corners!!!!

Seriously though , any hesitations you may have had about posting should well and truly be gone now mate.. Go's to show the calibre of crew we have here.

At the risk of telling you to 'suck eggs' ;

1st - You ain't Robinson Crusoe (guess you figured that by now)
2nd - Kids 1st U2 second (that means level playing field not kids ,then her , then you!!)
3rd - Get a fucking lawyer - NOW!! (This I cannot stress too much mate ... don't kid yourself she won't!!)
4th - Don't "give" her anything. "Gifts" are not admissable as forms of compensation let alone constitue child support concessions in a court of law...Mate if she screwed around on ya she'll have no hesitation in screwing your ass to the wall via court / child support.. "I'd never do that to you" only lasts till the $$ are waved under her nose and /or a new cock moves in..(trust me on this!)

Don't mean to sound like a hard bastard but I've seen this scenario soooooo many times :x

It's really great you get to have time with the kids though....It's obvious how much you treasure that.

There are good ones out there though (hint - look for ones that own and ride their OWN bikes ;) )

Good luck mate... Best wishes

Good to hear Marty. If you need anything mate, you have my number. I'm still heading up to Nabiac, so I might wrangle a couple more days off and detour via young on the way home if you're keen for a blat.

Good to see that you've got some sort of stability, with the love of your family around you..

Just remember everyone you know (from here or anywhere else) is only a phone call away, don't be too proud to call them if you need them

And I've got a really good friend and her favorite saying is.. how do you eat an elephant?.. one bite at a time

Just keep your chin up and keep chewing :)

I don't know what to say . . . . except, it's good to know I've got someth'n going for me! I think I'm flattered ? ? LOL   ;)

On a serious note, I have to agree with IsleofNinja on his points and in particular, seeing a lawyer - friends of mine pestered and pestered me bout this, due to their own experiences. It's important to at least see one, and put details down on paper.
Date of break up is also important because after being split for 2years if the other party hasn't taken you to court in that time, they've missed the boat - you can then rest easy. (Only 12months left til I don't have to worry bout that - not that I'm counting  ).

I look forward to catching up with ya on the Nabiac run Marty, for few quiet ones hey! ! :) :) :) :D
Til then, just keep getting out of bed. ;) ;)

Well, my supportive family became unsupportive yesterday. My father being the antiquated dinosaur he is, spelled out to me yesterday that he wants nothing to do with me, my daughter or my grandson! So, for the third time in my life he has tossed me out of the family home. Once at 15, then again at 18 and now at 40! So, once again I am on the move. I'll post up once I have sorted my next move! :?

Marty, kids (especially little ones) are good for the soul. Keep chasing your grandson around and listening to him giggle, it will make you forget all the bad stuff going on, even if it is only for 5 mins.

Keep your chin up, and I hope you work out where you are heading in life soon mate. :)

My father and I have never had any sort of relationship, mainly due to him beating fuck out of me until I was physically able to stop him, so it came as no surprise. Don't sweat it, I don't and won't. I just feel for my poor old mum who has to carry the guilt of not removing me from the situation (I don't carry any animosity towards her for this and have made it clear to her) and suffer the verbal tirade from my father, which inevitably follows his losing of the plot.

The rest of my brothers and sisters are pretty upset by what my father said and did. They have now rallied around me with generous offers of support. I am heading to Sydney in the morning to stay with my favourite sister in Newtown. She has not long ago gone through A similiar thing, and I was always there for her, so she is returning the favour. 8) We can bemiserable together

I am still feeling upbeat despite yesterdays little incident, the only downside really to all this is the time I will miss with my daughter and grandson. I was really enjoying just being there. Just spending time with him, allowing him to see enough of me that it doesn't take him half a day to remember who I am :) Plus chasing him on all fours up and down the hallway was huge fun. I dunno who was giggling more, me or Alexander!! He's a pretty awesome little boy, with a relaxed and happy nature. I have seen him have one wing, but that was just due to him being not allowed to go into the Kitchen. (It's off limits to under 4's in Nannas house where they live)

Now, there is on favour I might ask. Would anyone have room in there backyard for my trailer? :?
