Haha, this I know about :lol: and I think I kinda learnt my lesson after 2 months in plaster :oops:

I am guessing because you are already so close to A limit that it is much harder to "overpower" the acceleration. As some on here would attest I could get it up at QR but only from the last turn to the start/finish. There were different places you COULD mono around the track but it actually took a far bit of thought to do a good prolonged minger (where the front tyres smoke and howls because of hte speed difference) when you put it down. To be quite honest i was having enough fun going fast and the monos are mainly for when I am bored shitless on the road (in controlled conditions of course :wink: ) or to impress small children, pretty girls or my mates.
As an aside after one particularly silly day, when we stopped for a break the boys all commented how the 12 was throwing a LOT of stones (it spins as it comes up) and I said well thats it no more monos then and the howls of protest from everyone else was incredible. The thing is when you get half decent at them everyone else enjoys them more than you do :wink:
I actually got into the habit of pulling into the other lane before doing them... remebering you need a LOT of clear road to do high speed shit...

I love riding with Dangerous Dave for that reason Frogz! He is always good for a couple of 200kph corkers! And he can pull it up up to about 180 the smart prick.

I have started to have a little play occasionally, with a couple of short ones picked up and held, but timing the change so I don't A. Miss a gear B.Short shift and not have enough gazelles to hold it, or C. Run out of revs and let it come back down. I am sure with a little patience I work it out. Once sorted, you can gaurantee it will be utilised whenever possible! :wink: Till then, I'll do them on my own! :oops:

Drim, you'll be happy to know that I proved the 600R can wheelie without a problem. I had an opportunity to play at the old man's place on the long concrete driveway this arv... just take off casually in first, wind the throttle on and just as it's about to come onto power flick the clutch in and out while keeping the throttle pinned.

Up she comes :)

Well yes actually it is, but I don't think that is the problem. The clutch is very "wobbly" and out of balance, but it doesn't slip in a bad way. I think the problem just comes down to a very worn rear tyre and me not trying hard enough to wheelie it.

Ok man sounds good, I will give it a go. I have a benchmark now lol.
