Quick update. Had an appointment with a new specialist early Feb. she reckons they have had it all wrong for the past three years. So she has put me on a reduction program to get me off the steroids so she can then read the markers in my blood. The steroids mask all the markers. This however has caused it's own problems. Without the steroids, I have all the muscle and joint pain back with a vengeance, my immune system is weak due to steroids fortifying it and I keep catching virus' and bugs. Plus, the steroids also masked the ruptured L4/L5-S1 in my back, so now I can barely walk. So I am back on the Endone pain killers and in noddy land again. Having a blood test and body X-ray thursday, then enxtg week having a bone scan. 2nd week of April I go back to see the specialist who can then tell me what's going on hopefully and have a plan to sort it. She promised me she would have me back at work by September. I've heard this before though, but at least there is some hope, whereas the others all said...you've got this....go away and take these steroids and you will be fixed....which as we all know hasn't happened. Black is beautiful, cheque's in the mail, I won't come in your mouth and you'll be back at work by September.

Hopefully you will get that plan mate and head in the right direction.

Geez! I hope this new specialist can get you sorted and you're not going through all this for nothing mate!

I've had a few messages, so thought it best to give you a quick update. The power and torque curves have taken a dive...........
Short version....
Took dogs for walk Anzac day. Back let go, passed out. This was repeated 3 times till I worked out I wasn't getting up again. Ambulance came picked me up, took me down to Melbourne to Maroondah horsepiddle. Tinman first, then laidback looked after the pups for me........thank you guys.....while I was away. Took my first walk without crutches today.........200 metres............huge hey........ To top all this off, someone stole my car on the first night I was in hospital.

I'm ok......but the car theft was just a little more than I could cope with. I don't think I deserved that.

You certainly don't deserve that. Hang in there, even though sometimes you seem to get more potholes than bitumen xx

Good to see you're hanging in there mate. You can't go full hillbilly with those glasses though. You need the full thickness Coke-bottle glasses to go full hillbilly.

Just one week........that's all I am asking for....just one week without fucking shit falling down all over me. Fucking neighbours dog attacked Zsa Zsa tonight without warning and ripped two holes in her side. I've dressed them as best I can, but they both need stitches.....so it's a trip tp the vet in the morning. Fuck me............ Is one week without being fucked on too much to ask????????
