I think realistically , whilst still a gazetted road, there are lots of signs re logging trucks, clearly, he was on the wrong side of the road as I also found out, if you are on these roads , it's an occupational hazard unfortunately.
I think we are all guilty of flying around corners hoping no one is around the corner
Sending selected footage from your race cam to the police seems a little childish, unless everyone was obeying the speed limit. Me included. 8)

I'm pretty sure I saw a video of bikes on the way down using about the same amount of the oncoming lanes into blind corners? Pot. Kettle. Black?

And I thought Vic was pretty harsh on speedsters, with saying that we never saw 1 camera car on our travels from last Thursday till today, in fact the most police we actually saw was at the Entry to PI and cruising in and around the circuit.
160K ? I know it can be done but only if a mechanic alters the rating on the trucks computer by a workshop laptop,if that was done he his boss and the company would be jailed and fined severly and even when they tamper with the limiters themselfs the truck still wouldnt reach quiet those speeds

I think the 160 might be a tad overstated  maybe 120 or 130 max, it always seems like they are going faster when you can't pass them......

My apologies it was Nth of Bem River the driver then turned off at Cann River and he was doing at least 160, definitely not overstated, as there is no need for me to do so, I was in company of a fellow rider whom can also verify we just wanted to pass him due to poor visibility from road spray.

I know your not referring to me as I've never ridden with any of you boys but just from my point of view, I can state I personally have never used the other side of the road into blind corners EVER and if someone does its beyond comprehension that they are still even alive.
Just my point of view, that if that's the case its quite an amazing feat they are still living.

Read into that what you will.....

But if its true then "glass houses".......

With another vehicle coming the other way? And then not moving out of the way of that vehicle so it has to run off the road to avoid a collision?

Sorry Dave but it's a totally different situation in my opinion. And for the record I'm pretty certain you woouldn't have seen video of me using that amount of oncoming lane into blind corners.

I'm pretty sure they weren't blind corners in that video and the people involved would most certainly have moved back into their lanes, if or when they saw oncoming traffic, not just kept on their merry way, forcing said oncoming traffic off the road.

If you go flying around corners hoping no one is around the corner then I don't think you will be passing your opinion on this forum for too long because you will probably be dead!

Riders and drivers shouldn't expect to be run off the road by another oncoming vehicle using their side of the road. This truck had plenty of time to move over but chose to stay where he was. The truck in this footage, a number of corners after these guys, also ran myself and another rider off the road mid corner, but this time it was a blind corner. (And No we weren't speeding we were riding under the limit.) If you think that's ok and should be expected, your a f@&?ing idiot!

6 pages for a truck on the wrong side of the road ??
I got burned by the same guy. Sure he was in the wrong , no question.sometimes life is not fair.
So no one was speeding, or doing anything above the law?
For 4 days I watched you guys ride 6" off each other at speeds well over 150km an hour, which is cool if that's how you want to ride, who doesn't like going fast! Me included!, I couldn't keep up in most parts , as mine only does 150 km/ h!.
You are too good.
Being called an fn idiot is very un Christian !.,
Just saying, he was in the wrong , no question.
To say everyone is a law biding citizen is quite funny. I won't post anymore for fear of upsetting any fine upstanding members of the community.
