That wouldn't look "period"

But a rusty patchy wrap would :-)

Great to hear you're going racing again. :kuda: Hmmmm, maybe I should give the St George meetings a go next year.....

Nelso going to do his first season of racing next year and is doing the St George Series on his ZX10 in Clubsport. He wanted to get a bike to race in PCRA, as well, but I had to say no because we already have a road bike, a track bike and a dirt bike each. (well hopefully I pick my dirt bike up next week) So if he went and got a PCRA bike that means I have to as well and the money tree can't take much more of a beating, I'm still waiting for it to grow back but it's just not happening.

Got a chance to pull out the welder & make up the tank brackets, keeping it simple but better than the rubber strap supplied with the fiberglass tank which I wouldnt trust, the front of the seat padding will cover the brackets & the domed nuts.
Ordered the rear shocks today, keeping it simple with fully adjustable Ikon shocks built from the ground up to my specs, & the super special order........ a racing Dresda copy swingarm made from 50mm x 25mm square tube made specifically for this bike 8)
Its all coming together!
