Mate the only time the BST's make a differance is on high speed style corners 100kph and up,i have had both sets of wheels on my bike(with the same tyres) ..After those speeds the bike feels lighter on the steering and ezeyer to pull into those styles of corners.PS i don't have "much" of an issue with the brakes but i will try the 320mm discs on it . ;) :kuda:PS the corner speeds i said are what the bike can do in corner not road sign speeds.

So you're talking corners with road sign speeds marked at 45 kph or more then yeah?
To be honest,i don't look to much of any signs (may be a fault i have) just look at were im going. ;)Thats why i also have the quik shift set at 11700rpm so i can keep an eye on other things without having to watch the tacho! :kuda:

Here is a 12R not steering well !!

Image

I have seen how well a good E-model ZX9R can steer, and Marty is basically dead right. They just don't have the same issue as the 12 does in corners - the weight. Easier to tip in and muscle around. You can do this on a 12 but it is hard work. 12's are best suited to flowing corners like the Snowy Moutains Highway, not the tight squirrelly stuff like.....well like the Bonang

I have to say that having a spin on both Phil's Rex and Nelso's Rex....those bikes are just incredibly comfortable to ride and mighty quick. Phil's Rex has the best suspension of any twin-shock tube-frame bike I have ever ridden. When Nelso and I swapped for the spin along the coast road from Inverloch to Wonthaggi (which became Cowes  ) - not sure who was having more fun, Nelso or me !

Lots more bike-whoring went on during the CDT, I really wanted a spin on Hoffy's new Z, but that will have to wait until another time - too many other c@#ts all lining up to ride it

Thats 1 as far as I know that has issues ;) and one that had a problem any one could have had - a previous owner that had no idea ;) - other than tha tno one has any issues unless they did it themselves....I know, I've done it  ;)

What about the other 10 or so that have no issues and riders that are very happy :? Anyway no one broke down on the trip and all made it home :kuda:
