Re: The incurable disease-Owning a ZRX
For me it starterd with the swing-arm(best looker in the buisness), then that motor balls out for all to see, and old style twin shocks, a bike that looks like a bike. And there's not that many of em around.

Post some pics when it's done Phil.
It's funny though, I am not into modding things normally. If I do, it's never for cosmetic reasons. I am happy with the Rex, but yet, I still desire to make maybe one or two more changes. Front forks need a refresh at least, preferably a revalve. A new screen to replace the one I broke when it fell on the MR2. Replace the cheap shitty aftermarket indicators with something of better quality and which work. Replace the slightly warped discs with some new ones. Some heated grips for winter and I am done.
It clicked over to 77,000klms on the Reefton run last weekend, I even watched as I have watched several milestones roll over, 33,333, 44,444, 55,555, 66,666 and soon 77,777.

My Rex has just about hit the 100,000 k mark. I've only had it for 3 or so years but what an absolute gem these things are. Mine is just about as standard as you could find and that torquey engine is a gem all by itself.

I sent you some txt picsStrika wrote:Post some pics when it's done Phil.

Not finished yet, still need to do one more thing and then I'll post a pic

But am I done - well - who knows.
And I agree with you, there are very few mods in my bike that are for cosmetic reasons only - functional - every last bit, well except the cut down rear fender

We're gonna have to start calling you Cole Trickle with your fancy Nascar bits n' all.
Looks very functionally "cool" mate. Pardon the pun.

Nice Phil. I am jealous now. Can't wait for components to wear out so I can replace them with other tasty bits.
