Was wondering when this thread would rear its ugly head again. Gos, please note this is the ladder at Round 17 Updated: 25/7/2010, that's NOT round 22, nor is it Septemebr 25th at 5pm or so. IF you salute then i'll quietly go jump off a bridge or something, UNTIL that time, GEELONG is the reigning premiers!!!!
Round 19, here's the prediction, you guys will beat Geelong, finish top of the ladder, that Sunday you blokes will spend all day spanking your monkeys after you finish on top for the season and then bail out of the finals in straight sets with Geelong hopefully giving you your final send off for 2010

Part of the hard sell is a new Sex and the City-style trailer for the film, exclusive to heraldsun. com.au, mixing high heels with Magpie moccasins. Our Miss Universe contestant is wearing Ugg boots with heels, surely the moccies with heels will be next although the average IQ of a Collingwood supporter probably doesn't know how to work a heel, they wear moccies as the iq to tie a shoelace is way above them.

Yeah yeah big fucking deal Gos, the action starts September remember, and as an aside, since the final 8 came about, 3 times the top team has won the flag, since 1997.

the action starts next Saturday night.
In a quirk of statistics - during On The Couch on Monday night - they showed a table of GF teams from the last 8 years....during the last 3 or 4 rounds when the eventual g/f teams played each other during the H&A rounds.
Without exception - the loser of this game, went on to play the same team in the grannie - and win !
If this trend continues this year - I would be quite happy to see the Pies lose this round !!
In fact, that is probably exactly what the team needs going into the last 4 rounds - a decent game against a contender, not a pretender.

And that's exactly why I will tip Collingwood this week, we have a record of losing to teams in the H&A stuff then spanking em next time we meet in the finals, one only hopes we keep taht record up
