I took the Rexess out for a little shake down run after the rebuild today. I went out to kinglake, then Toolangi-H'sville-warby-noojee-moe-thorpdale. Then back past the Lang Lang proving ground and across to mornington peninsula, where I stopped for the night.

The aditional time I spent glueing foam into the fairing/screen/inner panels, has settled the vibes enough to be now able to see what's in the mirrors, at all engine speeds! Bargain!!!!

The luggage is heavy and alters the handling more into tourer than sports. However it stayed put and once again nothing fell off or leaked or failed!!!! We're going ok hey!

Tomorrow I have no idea where i'll be. I've got a bad dose of the CBF's,so it could end up anywhere. But I might scoot up into NSW and catch up with the family. I could go some of mum's cooking!

I got up late and my dose of the CBF's had got steadily worse over night. I rode like a pyjama wearing 12 mounted smitty at 20 kph under the speed limit all day. I basically back tracked the way I came yesterday, ending up in Yea for the night. I got talked into brunch tomorrow with some friends in Melbourne, so decided not to venture home. 6 hours is a little too far for brunch, even for me.!

The bike went well, I didn't. I wobbled about all over the place looking like a born again rider! Spose it's better than travelling faster than my brain can cope with hey!
