It is on the NSW side of the Murray, about 45km SW of Tumbarumba. Its also about 5 minutes away from Walwa, which is (was) a stopover for the annual "Snowies to the Super Doopers Run" ......some nice roads around that area......

Obtained a frame today

Price was more than right

Cant beat $0
Downside is its a "C" model frame ( mines an "e")

Might be bent - no cracks
Kawasaki Australia Technical say that for my purposes all of the E parts will bolt straight up and so thats all good.
The idea at this stage is to produce a rolling frame so that it can be put onto a jig and at least checked for straightness. I have looked all over the frame and can find no visible signs of damage and to my eye I cant see that it is even slightly out of whack. Still 1degree difference at the headstock could make a huge difference. If it needs to be straightened then it wont be such a big job. Unlike my existing frame that requires welding.
Happy Days

Damn @$#%^#(*&#$)(&*$#*(%@%$#()&*$_*$*($%@#&$#)^#%^$!@&@. Fuck it!
C model is completely different to the E. C Swingarm pivot smaller dia which necesitates the use of the C swingarm which in turn runs a smaller dia rear axle and diff rear wheel. Headstem completely different and so the E front end wont fit. FFFFFFFAAAAAARRRRRRKKKKKK ! What a waste of a day!
Back to square one!
For those that are about to say "told ya so!" get stuffed. I contacted the Kawasaki technical department and the "dude" assured me no worries.

So ya got the frame for $0, chuck it on fleabay and put the rewards towards an "e" frame. treat it not as a day lost, but a free deposit towards what you really need.
