It's kind alike comparing a ZX10 to the R1100RS, the Zx10, is the 16 yr old schoolgirl who goes off like a frog in a sock, and the R1100RS, is the nice auntie, who while she doesn't run at that pace, sure makes every movement feel smooth and nice!
,a good mate has a 90/6 ( i think ) about 78 model ( i think ) goes like shit off a shovel for an old beast, he loves them. 
As PC said, I still have my 9 for fun rides. The Beemer is just my commuter/interstater!
