ive thought about cafe'ing it up a bit. but to be honest im happy just making it look a little old-school. I'm thinking about keeping the chromed look and adding some chromed round mirrors as well as a pair of flattish bars. Aside from that i don't think i'll do much more aside from sort the paint out on the original tank & the new plastic back to the blue.

And yes, it feels awesome when they come together!

seems to me that the carb boots have a small hole in the seal between them and the head, as that is where the backfiring and popping seems to be coming from. even when i turn the idle screws out to 2.5 turns out. looks like carbs off again, then boots off this time and swap them (got spares for that too!) and while im at it rocker cover off and time to check the clearances one last time.

That is when i get a round tuit, those things are a bastard to find at times.
