OK... EMBARESSING crash of the year application.
Never been to PI before, ASS bike, following instructor in slow group.
Lose the front into Turn 4 on the
1st lap ever.
FULL $3500 excess payment on a 5kmh stack and now they dont even USE those bloody Triumphs anymore !!!
The did give me another bike (and possible excess) but the poor bugger following me (sorry whoever you were) fell on the front brakes and couldnt afford another go....
This after Strika telling me 5secs before to go easy for 3 laps at least.
I DID Strika I DID, but we dont GET cold tyres in Qld (except Warwick of course

)

All those people milling around Dave, are they the ones that rescued the riders by pulling them out of the BLAZING INFERNO??

Rash adds street cred, you might want to slide it along the other side so it can be admired from both sides,
Good point. I ran into Mick in Cooma on the way back from the GP, and I didn't even notice the Crim carrying damage...
Don't worry, someone spotted it at just about every other servo on the trip

Dave, better you than me snapping peoples legs into place !! OUCH !!!
That would have been harder than crashing
Damo: Yeah they do look helpful all those kind & good samaritans that just so conveniently took the opportunity to tell the paper " we saved the day, by dragging people from the inferno", while they walk around like tossers with their hands behind their back..
apart from the hot nurse that helped out...I wasn't purving either, it was all Dave I swear....

Travelling south two lane road, car bounces of my right side & sends my into a tree at 70-80km. Broke both legs, fib & tib on left, compound fracture to fema & lost 2 inches of fema into tree. Two dislocated fingers.Nerve damaged to left leg, lost muscle from compound fracture to thigh. Nails and screws in both legs. Wheel chair for a year, crouches for another year. Nails & screws removed now.
No photos from acko but ones from removin the nails.
What I don't get is, if you snap a bone it's broken, but If you snap it and it pokes through the skin it's refered to as a compound fracture. Surely it's a compound break?

Hmm if IRC compound fracture is when there is multiple fractures or fragments of bone or when the broken bones end up along side of each other..... and a break which breaks the skin, is an open fracture....

"Compound fracture" is a piece of medical jargon which has leaked out into colloquial use. To doctors, any break in any bone is a fracture.
