Race Replica have a Z1000 ex demo they are wanting to get rid of, and a z750 too....

Up to you though, nothing wrong with a honda....
I live about 25-30km the other side of Macedon.

I rang them just now, they don't have a Z750, only a demo Z1000 and a new Z1000. The new Z1000 is $13,500. The demo is circa $15,000 in its current state. They were unwilling to quote me for the demo one return to its original state.
sales people suck

...just put a deposit on a metallic red '06 Honda CB900F6. I would have preferred the black, but the only one they had was an '05 at the same price of the newer bike.

I was sitting on one in the shop talking to the sales guy, but someone else bought it while I was sitting on it . Now they have to get one in from elsewhere...

Mick doesn't post here that often, so it's not really a great loss if he goes to a Honda forum. ;)

About time you got a new bike Mick. Good work.

I thought a month ago (before Ros modified my expectations - remember I said you always pay in more than one way?) the Z1000 was in the bag .

Once I discounted the Z1000 and the SV, the choices at the end came down to the Z750 or the Hornet. Not much between them really, the Hornet was a bit better spec'ed, slightly more grunty, and not much more than the Z750. Plus I could only find a Z750 left out in Ferntree Gully and the Sales guys pissed me about a bit.

The only other option would have been the ZRX1200, but the closest I could find one (except Cosways) was Shepparton. At the end I just couldn't be arsed .
