Hey man...I have 3 S1 tanks and I think an S2 tank in the loft, with varying degrees of finish. All will need a de-rust,but no holes I hope, paint, chrome. Two have fuel caps,no fuel taps.Pay postage and one only is yours.
As your the first I can help, you'll get the best one I have of a so-so bunch.Too ezy.
PM me with questions etc. I will have a better look at 'em tomorrow.
Cheers...Stu.

Well I have lots of '72 and some '73 S1 parts and I'm more than happy to let stuff go out if it really needed, not all though!!.It must also be understood that 90% of it all needs restoring of some kind, whether it be paint, chrome or repair, some all three!.Salt air can be severely sneaky over time.
Anyways.if anyone needs some S1 or S2 bits,PM me and I'll see if I can help, which mostly I could. That includes you Gos.
BTW Gos,whats with the GPz750 in your post??I don't mind being a cut above, but I've an '09 750 not an 80's one!! Unfortunately I had to trade the ZRX due to lower leg issues with an ankle fusion coming up soon from a prang last year.
Ah well...ya get that on the big jobs!

yeah im a bit embarrassed to say , but basically after work last night , i put the two snap ring retainers on one bearing ,so when i bolted down the case it put pressure on the bearing and destroyed it. there should be only 1 snap ring in place ,the other one shoud've went on the other gear shaft
hope i explained properly!, i'm spewing as i would've had the motor in the frame all buttoned up looking like half a bike!

Not 100% sure on that but over the years I have never had a problem getting bearings for bikes ,machinery and even the fisher & pykal washing machine

I agree with h.b.bear,if you can get a new bearing it will be much better value.But....give me the number off the shot bearing....

did you get that ????? Shot bearing ----TITANIUMBULLET !!!!

yeah guess you had to be there.
Anyway,I have a small collection of gearbox parts,if the bearing is there it's yours.Just don't rely on it man!!!
