After not having ANY (registered or legal) bike for the last 2 years or so, my new years resolution was to get the Zed back on the road.

Mission Accomplished. 8)

Now I seem to have accidently come home with another bike too:

:kuda: K DS R C. 2011 KLR650.

Came with racks, panniers, crashbars, doohickey done, power sockets, airhawk, bigger screen, replacement pegs, etc etc.. My old man's mate bought it so the two of them could head out across the desert on bikes, but he had a heart attack before he got that far. :( He only managed to clock up 1000k's on the bike.

The plan is to ride it around enough to get some dirt skills back, then I'll head out into the desert with my old man to do the ride he and his mate were going to do. 8)

There is an awesome one around the corner from me. I would've got it but I couldn't justify spending that much on my first dirty.
2011 model
482kms
Heaps of bling(anodized crap)
Some aftermarket sticker kit
Three stage switch
Some special inner tubes that stop the Tyres getting pinched on the side to prevent punctures.
He spent $16000 on it when he purchased it new with the extras.
It basically is still new.
$9000

Nice

The only shit thing there is transfer to nsw rego.

I did it for my Ktm (drove by myself to warranabol and back in one day) but the rego change over was a pain in the arse. Said I would never do it again
