the green sorta doesn't show the scratches clearly
and sorry if the pics are a bit big
next question is does anyone have spare fairings? is it worth getting new ones? and if i get brand new ones would i get them automatically in SE colors / decals or would i have to pay extra for that

scratches are like scars, lifes like that and does it affect the bike; hell no
the side panel is cracked, repair or replace; either way easy
hole in nose in front of indicator, get repaired, waaay cheaper
scraped can; who cares?

1. The damage looks much better than I thought, ie. much lesser.
2. Fairings, well there are a few options depending on how much you want to spend.
A. Leave them on as is or maybe super glue them.
B. get them fixed by a motorcycle panel beater. It can be welded, resprayed and you can order the decals either online or through Kawasaki.
C. You can also replace the cracked fairing with a used one from a wrecker. Google motorcycle wreckers. Findapart.com.au is also a good place to go.
D. OEM fairings will cost you a bomb. Don't even go there. You don't need them, from what I can see the fairings are easily fixable.

ye i was surprised at the damage to considering i came of at 60 but in this case mud was an ally but then again the photo's don't show the damage very well
i don't want to spend more then 300 on fairings and as for the can was thinking of getting a second hand stock depending on the price might settle for one of the aftermarket cans again not looking to spend more then 200/300 tops
the only major concern i have is i cant let the bike have scratches on it, to me that's like walking out shirtless in parramatta with a big dick and balls drawn on your body just feels wrong i suppose

If you came off at 60 just because a bunch of stick jumped out and scared you, I wouldn't be in too big a hurry to spend big bucks fixing it. That will just hurt twice as much next time.

Daisy....coming from Tassie, I understand your comment. But you have to remember, it's no those placid and quiet Tassie sticks we are talking about here........ It's those very aggressive Old Road sticks that jump out at you and try and rip you off your bike. Them's things are dangerous. I'm scared of em even when I'm off my bike.

Sure, the mud was the cause of your eventual crash. However, you do not appear to be grasping what I have said previously. Stop blaming the sticks.
THE STICKS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU CRASHING
OK, are we clear now?? If so, repeat to me what it was that actually caused the crash please, just so I am 100% confident that you have it.
I am being serious here and if you want to learn, you will play along. If not, then it will be to your riding detriment.

^ This man knows, acknowledging your mistakes and addressing them is the only way to learn.
We have all been there but, I dropped my L's Bike a couple of times at car park speed had about 3 times the damage you have there, If I were you I would of bought a lotto ticket
Also good excuse for a pipe or matt Black paint scheme

read up i said clearly due to my sr reactions + visual techniques that being said the sticks did play a a minor role apart from that I've already acknowledged the mistake went over it and stored it in the banks

So...what will you do the next time the same or similar situation occurs? Step us through how you will deal with it?

stay the course as much as my sr wants to kick in, roll on and keep it locked rather then rollin the throttle completely off, lean angles , visual techniques need i say more?
either that or pretend to be the stig or
last option slow down dramatically
