NOT correct mate, I had mine on here when you were still on a ZX12. Do a search :)

Personally love the look and the versatility ... as has been said they just do everthing well.

Taking mine to Tassy on Friday for a little fang around there next week. Won't be needing a chiro and an osteo when I get back.
i've only had mine since '01 but i've had my '82 Gpz750 since '82

it kinda looks like a ZRX & would eat a stock ZRX1100 for breakfast with the adjustments i made

that's gotta count for something...LOL

The biggest problem I have with my ZRX is the erection I have when I get off it.

Its starting to get a little embarrassing.

I rode mine today. Just to the bank n back, but fuck it's a great bike to ride. The new set up helps even more. There are three or four nice little humps which make it impossible to not have the front tyre leave the tarmac. Maybe there's too much rebound........

My Rex and a certain ZX12, are getting intimate in my shed. It's not the first time they've been together. The Rex is a bit upset that it's not heading off with it to the supers though. :( :(

I'll pass on the cucumber samos and fat chicks ;)

I agree with everything Marty said, but for me the biggest one is the smile it puts on my dial everytime I ride it. And the look on peoples faces after they have had a go - that is priceless ;)

Fast or slow, it doesnt matter. In this day and age THAT is the big appeal.
Today I let my neighbor take the rex for a squirt,he owns a 79 CB650, well fork me your dead your right Phil, the look on his face was priceless, the dude couldn't stop shaking. :kuda:

Funny you say that. Yesterday i took a mate for a short (100k's door to door) run. He has a few bikes and offered me a ride on his new 2011 ZX10. I declined knowing he would have to out and buy a ZRX if he rode mine............

Strika wrote:so, what is it exctly that turns ZRX owners into such fanatics. NOt all ZRX owners are fanatical modifiers, or blingers. Not all ARZ owners do lots of klms, not all ZRX owners keep them completely stock. Not all ZRX owners ride hard, not all ZRX owners flog shit out of them and not all ZRX owners drag or track them.

But one thing is for certain, that all ZRX owners are amazingly passionate about their ZRX's.

What is it that flaots your ZRX boat and why don;t other people understand what we have????
So true...everyone is different in how they use/ride the bike and what they do to it but they all have the same thing in common.......Love the ZRX!! :supz:

You just have to ride one to understand the feeling it gives you and how it puts a huge grin on your face...best bike i've owned by far and definately a keeper.

I'm one of those that likes to modify the ZRX and once you start you can't stop. It really is the perfect bike for it.........I remember reading about this on the ZRXOA (before i made any mods) and could'nt understand it at the time, all the talk of locking away your cr cards etc..........Thought i would just do pipe and jets, maybe different bars, the bike was great as it was..........but..it didn't take long to get hooked.
I'd like to say i think i've done enough mods now and no need for more, bike goes well, more power, handles great and looks good....................we'll see how long i last!

I'm still trying to understand why I hold mine in such regard too. It doesn't have all the latest stuff, it's just a simple UJm in reality. But it just works. tours in comfort, commutes with ease. Stilll get's lots of looks parked in front of the local cafe (Inless it's one of those ugly looking S models. ......) and is a hard bike to pass up a mountain road.

I just love the ease with which it holds speed over a long distance. I take mine riding with some guys who can seriously ride. Some much more advanced in skill and ability and for the most part on late model litre sports bikes. Blades, Gixxers the odd ZX10 and R1, but unless they are on their game, the Rex will be a difficult thing to pass. I like also the fact that they think it's your riding ability putting one up the front of the pack. Yet, we all know we are just peddling along at a nice 7.10th's pcae, lettting that antiquated steel frame, those old 43mm conventional forks and that twin shock do their thing!!!

Yesterday's ride just reminded me why I love my Rex so much. It's just such a giggle to ride fast. My body isn't exactly the strongest example of the male physique at the moment, yet the Rex ride position & comfort enables me to still get out for short rides and it can still show a well ridden sports bike a wheel.

My fave series of downhill 35kph marked turns were particular fun yesterday, with new tyres, rear shocks sorted, front suspension close enough, it was heaven on a stick.
