Is the 2011 zx10 a 5 grand better bike than a 2010 zx10 ?

Who cares it's l academic. Put a good rider on an average to good bike and he will lap quicker and more easily than a guy with a you bewt 2011 super dooper special who can't ride. Ride what you got, enjoy it. They all become obsolete shit heaps every 12 months. Rewind to these posts in a year or two and you'll laugh at how shit the 2011 model is and how everyone raved about it. Like the original gsxr/fireblade/R1

unless you can push each bike to the limit to find the differances for the average person like me i dowt you will find much at all
both bikes are NOT for the faint hearted

Hmmm....you certainly know it's a thou when you twist the throttle!!
The Gen 3 has more than enough power for my use on the street anyways. My bike is solely a roadbike & won't be doing any track days. Either way i think that whatever model you own you will have a massive grin each time you go for a ride.

recenty read the Rapid mag with the 'superbike shootout' , WG stated its the best 10r ever !!
Interstingly the MCN review gives the new 10r a 4 star overall rating (max of 5 stars)compared to a 5 star with the previous model 10r (08-10). I have found their reviews pretty spot on the money and agree the 08-10 model is a five star bike.
I've seen brand new advertised 08-10 model zx-10's for $13,300 otd lately ,that's neally 8 grand difference between the two models now. The 8 grand saving could buy a lotta bling and track days !! but i still want the new one.
