Tell me more about the gel inserts

well a GEL insert is what it says it is . GEL insert is placed in your seat to add more comfort . the way it works is i remove a section of the foam on your seat and i replace it with the GEL pad and and then put your seat cover back on and then your all done

Hey Kev,
I finally got the bike back together and tested the seat out on a solid 440Km ride last week end. Worked a treat. The remoulding made the seating position much more comfortable (no leg cramp at all) and the new material ment I wasn't trying to hold on so tight to the tank. I think it came out real well and suits the bike.

Looks great mate !! What material is it finished in ??

Just what Kevin calls gripper material. Similar to what is on the side of dirt bike seats. The material really works well to keep you from moving around on acceleration and braking. You still hold the tank with your knees but the pressure required is at leist 50% less.
