i'm up to 4,000kms on my bt016 stock front and its still fine? no major signs of wear except on the edges...

get Pilot POWER 2 front. and pilot ROAD 2 on back.

Good combo, but they dont do 55's in the road 2's only in 2cts

I have many a time made the same comment to before also Fred but I am resigned to thinking that for the grip levels they offer I am happy to live with the short life.

pilot road 2's the only tyre that lasts on the 12r

Me too.

Road 2 rear, Power 2 front is working very well for me so far... Best tyres I used on the road in the last 80,000Km. I wouldn't complain with Power 2 on the rear as well, but can't justify the tyre life.
