this one.
Ok so have sorted out one of the oil leaks{yes 2 oil leaks} the major one was the push rode seal fron the gear box. the other is the o-ring for the comp-switch. So started her up yesterday after fixing the main leak and took her for a ride around my park twice got her home and she died.....

so checked over and she was really hot. so finally got her started and she was making really bad noises apon start up. she was really heating up, but garge still had her normal. anyways last night i was thinking of everything it could be. Now when i first got her, i checked all the oil, coolant and she was fine. didnt realise the radiator cap is under all the fairings. checked the radiator to find no coolant. So in went some coolant, and i could here some dripping. looked down and i have a busted water pump hose from where the fairings had fit. so the noise was the water pump not having any coolant and the reason she didnt want to start was she was over heating. so tomorrow go get a new radiator hose and see what happens.oh and the damaged fairings are off. pic to follow.

Be afraid punk, be very afraid...
As soon as he gets on a bike you will feel so much pride that you will put everything into his riding that yours will take a back seat until you become an ol fart like me and he can afford to fund his own fun. Having said that it's worth every second and wouldn't have it any other way.
All you have to do is win oz lotto now and that should about cover it...go GREEN GPXPUNK MOTOGP TEAM...

ok so just picked up both brackets for the side fairings, biggest problem is trying to find a bloody hose that goes from the water pump to the front of the engine, when the fairings broke they must of cut the hose coz coolant is going everywhere. kelens didnt have one, neither has kawasaki australia, nevillle told me to check the wreckers but finding a zx7r in a wreckers in western sydney is impossible at the moment.will start the repair on the side fairing tomorrow. see how i go hahaha

thanks dude, i just cut it since it is right near the end. doesnt leak, but now have a new problem i have another leak coming from this little plastic bowl style pod between the hoses coming from the thermostate and disappearing under the frame. tried to find the part on the oem parts site but cant find the bloody thing {had a little filter inside it that is connected to the hose.
here is a pic:

ok so fixed the leaks!!!
Still trying to get the outter clutch hub off to see whats stopping the start up.
BUT!!!!!!!!!
Went down to liverpool wreckers after work today to pick up a hose for the gpx250, and i thought shit he has a few fairings. And what did i see b4 me but a black zx7r top cowl. YAY!!!! little bit of damage where it connects onto the side fairings but shit i can fix it. $100 and its mine.
Then looked to my right and find a 2nd one in green and white {exactly what i needed} but the top left wing is broken off, $50 and its mine
But i have the same section on the wrecked one, so just need to cut clean and plastic weld and ill reinforce it aswell. the black one can be fixed aswell since i can cut the sections for the wrecked one aswell and weld them.
Anyways here is a pic:
So in short $150 for the hose and 2 tp fairings is sweet in my book.
He has a ZX7r there mut its not a p model, but a j model. i dont think i can use the starter clutch out of it.
