Riding bikes on weekends became a occupational hazard for me that and I dont have a road bike to ride at the moment but social outings sound like a good idea....as you may have noticed i havnt been on the forums for ages.

Unfortunatly the plod like to sit in roadworks zones on weekends thats where the money is and you have to ride a long way out of town to miss them....actually thats when trafic dept hassles the public in general and i find it a good time to stay off the road if you want to totally avoid that issue or you can go to the racetrack when its open for buisness and do what it is you do at a racetrack.

Yeh some of the old memebers have each others phone numbers and go rideing....wasnt a crime last time i looked.

Hope i didnt miss the point here.

If wisdom's ways you wisely seek,
Five things observe with care,
Of whom you speak,
To whom you speak,
How, when and where.

Some old bloke.

thats an interesting quote ;)

In laymans terms, I guess it basically means don't bitch about someone to the wrong person, especially if you can be overheard by someone else !

Confucious say.......

'Before you speak ask yourself?
Is it kind?
Is it necessary?
Does it improve on the silence?'

Yes, an old saying mum used ;

If you have not got anything nice to say about something, do not say anything.

Wendy , you have said your peice, now it is up to others to take up the challenge.

Move on, it is not worth the trouble.

Yep- I'm over it. Hope the message got through to the people who needed it.

End of this thread for me.

Hope we can have more rides and more socialising- no doubt I have caused myself some issues, but nothing I cannot deal with. :)
