a wise man once told me...

"there are motorcycle enthusiasts who happen to own computers, and computer enthusiasts who happen to own motorcycles."

i've stuck by that remark my whole time here. 8)

i wont say who said it, coz i'll cop a bagging.

I reckon (like everyone else) that the forum is fine, but what is the goal of the forum? Are we looking to grow it and attract new members, are we looking to become more formal or a motorcycling body that govt will take notice of or are we just happy with the way things are???

To me, the forum is a way to catch up with mates who are spread from arsehole to breakfast time, across the great country of ours. If we happen to talk about bikes here and there, then great.

As others have said, if you don't like it, leave.

Spot on

I moderate on a few automotive / dirt bike forums also and and to be quite honest this one feels ... well more comfortable I guess. There seems to be no real keyboard heroes / wankers here so much.. :axe:

I just wish there were more of a WA contingent here...

Oh well ,guess I'm coming back to QLD sooner or later I suppose!!! new_scatter.gif

Nah, leave it as it is! New members come and go, but there are always newer members who are becoming regulars and part of the core members. It's a great forum, generally we all get along well, and I think that we all know that we can go to just about any other city in the country and be assured of a welcome. I am on only a couple of national forums, and a few Brisbane forums. All the forums have members having hissy fits and spats, and members get the shits with one forum, go to another forum & get the shits there, then go on to another, so on and so forth. To me, KSRC has the most stable membership and the least amount of histronics...barring someone who ended a certain post with "Good Day!" "D

I like the site the way it is. Ive joined other sites to check em out but this is the one ive enjoyed the most.
ive made friends through this site and been on some great rides with people i met here so its all good

Being bikeless at the moment and in a new town at a new job i have posted very little the last couple months mainly due to limited pc access
but i try to get back here a couple times a week to try keep up with whats going on (usually start with the bikes for sale section).

hopefully soon i will be back on a bike and will no doubt have a tonne of questions for people to solve for me :D

Hmm, i know one of the coppers up that way, and no, he isn't in HWP, him and the majority of others in his station think they're assholes through & through.

oh and the forum, keep it as it is, has a bit of everything, including banter and tech stuff. Don't like it, there's the door, don't let it hit your arse on the way out ;-)
