So true. and shows each and every stone chip , bug splatter scratch , blemish etc etc..

But looks sooo good it's worth it..Just need to show her lots of love constantly(like being bloody married!!!)

So got my bike yesterday afternoon. WTF! It had been floating around in it's crate on the way from Perth and has panel damage all over the place. I've attached some of the choicer damage.

Yeah I got coverage on it the day I paid for it. Not happy about having to fork out the $500 excess though.

what a raw deal... would have been cheaper to fly / ride it back

who packed it? did the owner pack bike in crate or transport company??

surely they should wear some of cost.

I won't mention any names yet because I haven't got a final tuff luck, but it was packed buy the motorcycle dealership in Perth who are the agents for the transport company I used.

That's farked, what a pack of dickheads doing that to your bike!?

I guess you have to wait and see if they'll cough up first, but surely if you can identify the transport company and the people who packed it, then your insurance company can chase them for the money and you can just have a no-fault claim?

That sucks, I can imagine how dissapointed you'd be after waiting so long..

You can always use it as an opportunity to customise, or get some added bits for the bike.. You'd be surprised how much some repairers quote to fix stuff like that only to find out a lot of things they allowed weren't really necessary...

Talked to my insurance company. Seeing as they were acting as an agent for me it's my responsability, so my insurance company has no legal grounds to go after them for the money.
