Hornet is sold!

I sold the Hornet today! :D So I am now on the hunt for a 9. Or maybe a 7. :) Not fussed which one, either a P model onwards ZX7R, or a C model onwards ZX9. Although I saw a really neat B4 that was cheap. But it was probably too nice to carve up into a naked!

mmmm 6 piston brakes, 23 degree head angle, 125hp. mmmmmm yummie! Light weight, mmmmmm!

I can see more wheelies and silly antics happening on that than on the Hornet!

good stuff marty,
don't totally count the Bs out, they can be made to corner.
though more prone to spinning the rear than pulling good wheelies. (but u already knew this)

well, if all goes well at broady on the 22nd.
i'll be doing the same, but not totally tracking it. i won't commmute anymore, probably, but i'll still throw the road fairings on for a blat through the twisties.
it's a bit of a pig changing direction, but you just have to slap her around a bit more than usual. kinda if u were from ballarat and ur wife got narky! :D:D only joks guys, please no more threatening emails

not a great one i wouldn't think.
most ppl i've spoken to who try to put a trackie on the road, spend way more than first expected. but then it depends on how track the bike is.

c'mon marty, i know you can do better. just put ur mind to it.

Are you kidding???? Dunno where you got the idea about not being able to easily re-roadie a trackie. Provided no idiot has taken to the wiring loom with the cutters, then it's a plug and play job to restore it. No biggie at all. I have done three or four conversions over the years. And as I don't want fairings on it, it makes a perfectly good donor chassis.

The fact that it has re-valved and resprung forks and shock, braided lines and a steering damper and Pobjoy pipe, also add to the attraction.
