As it was our first hit out today, we decided to stay close to home and take it a bit easy. We chose to test the waters at Wollongong Motorcycle Club (aka Mt Kembla MX track). They have a few trails at the back of the MX track with about 4 or 5 k's of tight enduro track. There are a few creek crossings, some steep bits and because it rained last night, a bit of mud. I had a compression lock up when the Husky stalled going down a steep muddy hill which resulted in a small highside which was no biggie, but when I picked the bike back up my feet slipped out from under me and I face-planted. Leanne tried to knock over a tree with her front wheel at the top of the same hill which resulted in her going for a tumble halfway down the hill, so we both got our first dirty crash out of the way pretty early. Despite those two little mishaps, we had a ball and are now ready to come riding with you guys.

Morgan on the Murray River for the Ariel MCC xmas party which was a hoot , anyway it's basically the end of season ride or the hard core riders end of season as the other softkawks thought it was going to be too hot and left the bikes at home
So only two of us rode the roadside verge tracks, nice and cool with some rain Saturday on our way to Eudunda where all the whoops were full of water, great fun aquaplaning across them with a few deep ones to keep ya honest and trying to soak each other
Lots of high winds and plenty of lightning around with a few strikes that got way to close
No fuel available at the only servo in Eudunda due to a blackout so we tried to make it back, the Kato 250exc ran out near Morgan so I did a rescue mission with less than a litre left in the 511. With around +120kms of mostly fast whoops and some nice fast sweepers for the day at speeds up to 120kmph it sure was a good workout for the legs and the heart strings.
The hangover ride today we had an additional 2 hardcore riders on 525 katos with good pilots aboard which are always fun to be behind...not!
The sand was just peachy and not much dust, alas the inevitable packing up and remembering its a hi ho of to work we go tomorrow we all reluctantly parted company and headed home ready for some much needed sleep in a comfy bed. .

Who's keen for a ride Thursday? I think Robracer is in; any others?
Bogan, what's the chance of taking us around Belanglo?
If not there, maybe Menai, or Nowra if the Sydney people are willing to drive that far. We don't have the time to do a Watagans run this week.

I went in to Wingello forest after a KSRC Murulan trackday and I had nfi of anything of the area other than I might find bodies, I didnt come across any at least
that clearing is easily driven to in 2WD even towing the mothership trailer in there after the Murulan TD, went in on the Razorback track which is a un-gated road and exited later on the four seasons track and dont be put off having to drive through a farmers paddock it is public access just close the gates
All through those valleys in between the main tracks are some very nice S/T (@ 3.00 ), not many go there from what I have seen unlike Bellango which is always reported of have plenty of law and forestry enforcement due to the large number of riders,
You will like one of the old gravel pits for a special test section if you find it.

Was a fantastic ride, the main single track to the west that we were after was off limits so we had a hunt around & found some smaller sections,
Special bit at the end of this video is NWS
