You know somethings happened when you have to go hunting for a new belt and whatever it was you where wearing just slides strai off you ass....I dont own a set of scales at this stage.
Yeah, its ok....
I have had to buy new jeans 3 times so far....... and add 2 additional holes that didnt exist to my belt... which means I have moved about 7 belt holes from when I started....

Barrabob - seeing as this topic is titled 'Way off topic...' I just thought I'd add -> Relativity and quantum mechanics I think will help exaplain what would happen if you were travelling at the speed of light and you turned on your headlights. I think time has to distort to allow for that to occur ... ?

I speculate that light will work in a very similar way to sound... it will simply appear to bunch up in the same place (just like sound does when you break the sound barrier)...

Einstein sort of disagreed

Depends on whether you are watching the bike, or on it.

Same as sound then........

No but see sound actually *does* constructively interfere when sourced from a vibration travelling at the speed of sound (in a specific medium i might) whether you are able to hear it or not .... light doesn't behave the same way in all situations.

22 Movember
Starting weight: 136.4
Current weight : 106.5
Lost this week +0.8kg
Total weight lost: 27.7kg
Next milestone 30kg lost (2.3kg away)
Next milestone after that 100kg
Unfortunate result.... But last week I lost 3.2kg.... I think part of that was probably dehydration or something, which affected this weeks result.... The overal trend is that I am losing almost a kilo a week, so I am not worried....

On average I go for a walk every two days, usually between half and hour to an hour and a half....
I did a trackday on Saturday and thought that would make up for it and more, but it turns out I was wrong hehehe

Hmmm I think a trackday tires you out more mentally than physically...

Bit of a messed up week....
Drank too much on Friday (Well... you just HAVE to sometimes)...
On Sat night we had a dinner party with my old boss... probably ate a bit much, and had too much wine...
To make up for it I went to the gym for a few hours on Sun and yesterday.... also did loads of excercise.... Behaved myself foodwise for the rest of the week too...
Keen to see how I go.....

Keep up the good work mate - I have followed this story with more than a bit of interest myself

....
Went from 85kg in 2001 to 90k by 2004. Gave up smoking in Sept. '04, and within 6 months had pegged out to 95kg. By the end of '05, was up to 100kg. During this year, continued getting *fatter*, finally plateaued at 112kg

in September. Have been making an effort, due in part to how succesful you have been..........dropped to 110kg by drinking less JB&C, and after a couple of weekends riding that 750 trailbike in the mountains, have now dropped to 106kg

.
At this rate, riding a dirt bike (albeit a big fat heavy pig) up in the mountains for 4 hours every Sunday morning, I should be down to 100kg by Xmas

........and back to normal 85-90kg by the time the next PCRA season starts
Keep the updates coming along. I am sure you have inspired others here to also have a nudge at losing the love-handles
