I know Glenn would pay for damages to the bike if he'd crashed it, but after thinking about it I'd rather not run the risk of it being crashed at all by someone else, especially someone who likes to ride in a *spirited* fashion. I've let 5 other people ride the zx6, but Glenn is the only person to have ridden the zed.
So why is Glenn so "SPECIAL"?

I have let 5 mates ride my bike & 2 of those we at QR & MP trackdays....

I used to let almost anyone ride them. But now I am a little selective, after I caught one person literally dishing out mechanical abuse to my bikes gearbox! :x Now I need to trust you and your riding ability before I will let you ride my bike. But if I know you and know you are competent then by all means ride away. But they still all take it on the "Bend it you mend it" principle!

Hmmm I have let a VERY select few ride my 12.
Mainly to get a before and after impression.
I have also put a Rocket III owner on it (risky i know) so the poor bugger could understand (he thought his Rocket accelerated hard).

Basically if someone ASKS the answer is NO....

Mind you few that I HAVE offered a ride too took it...

Same rules as above, you bend it you mend it and I get your bike while you do

if i think they're capable then i'd let em have a spin.
and i'd have to trust them to take care of damage etc.
my dad and Hoffy are the only ppl who have ridden my bike,
and dad let me ride his Hardly loungechair on wheels... and i scraped the running boards hehe  trying to keep up with my own bike...

erm, as for Hoffy??
well i'll show him how to wheelie his new biek when he gets it...
just jokes mate...

Somehow I dont think spelling bike wrong will keep it a secret
And somehow I think the only lessons he will need will be how to NOT keep it on the back wheel.."

He'll have to use your ploy ie weigh it down with as many bugs as possible :)

....and with a KSRC number plate frame any bike will wheelie..they add an instant 10 kw you know

hmm yeah

i've let only 1 other person ride my bike and even then it was on ly for 10-15 minutes. I had a mate ask if he could take mine out for the day last sunday. the rules were : 1) you bend it, you buy it from me
2) if it comes back A1 you pay for half the
gear to do oil change

He was keen even had the rules in writing for him to sign, but he ended up not well and didnt take the bike out

but same rules apply for next time :D

No one I knew ever wanted to ride my old bike (who wants to ride a 250 anyway) but I would only let people I trusted and was confident in their ability to ride my bike. The usual f@#k it, fix it rule would still apply. On the flip side if someone offers me a ride on their bike I don't instantly jump at the chance. I'll weigh up the situation and either accept or decline. Riding someone elses bike on a road I don't know well I'd probably say no whereas a session on a track bike at a track day would be a yes.

The only other person to ride my zzr is my BF. Hell, he was the one who took it for a test ride :P

He has told me I can have a ride on his if I want, but so far I haven't. After all, it is a Honda

He has let his brother (unlicensed with lots of dirtbike exp) and his dad (Lots of road riding exp) ride it. Guess which one dropped it and is not allowed near it now? His dad  ........
