Throw butts in the car? LOL
I'd keep the butt for DNA evidence and go arrest whoever threw it at me, I'd inform them they're under a citizens arrest and if they attempted to flee I'd use reasonable force to restrain them until the proper authorities arrived.
That's if I was in a good mood, after having a hole burned in my face I might be a bit angry.

would it be legal for a motorcyclest to smoke and ride , could get very foggy in there lol

I dont throw anything else on the ground and cig butts arent any diff. If i'm walking along i stub it out on the sole of my shoe then hold on to it till the next bin. It isnt that difficult really ...

or do as my missus does with her COMPANY CAR, keep a 600ml bottle of water in the car, ash out the windows, and punt the butts into the bottle of water. when it gets a bit grotty, turf the bottle and get a new one.
*nb* she has a rodeo, which has little bottle holder thingo's in the base of the door towards the front, nice and convenient "grab" spot for various bottles.

umm im pretty sure the ciggie will burn thru it....
i use to be a smoker (17 days without a smoke- cold turkey) and i always ashed & ditched out the window..i did however ALWAYS check who was abt, wind my window right down & throw it hard into the ground, and rarely ditched when sum1 was behind me (especially a biker)..now say what u like, it wont change the past, and i dont really care either
