chamois dry.
meguiars quick wax.
autosol on metal.
armoral on seat & sides of wheels
re-lube chain

Seriously, I sit and watch T wash and polish my bike. She is gunna have it when she is off her restriction so she likes to look after it....

Nah it's just dirt, road grime and rain. The bike dinted even get that dirty when the lost leylan brother Mario took us sight seeing down the GOR.

trap for the unwary......ya NEVER use Armour-All on your seat......its *great* for everything else thats black/plastic/shiny type thingys.......but

the mate I bought the the GPZ 900R off armour-alled the seat, least his son did... doing the right thing...
Took awhile to get T from sliding on the seat and crushing my goolies on the tank...

Nah its ok, I can handle the cleaning duties myself, thanks for the offer though :p
I am pretty much the same with cars, too, .....must be clean! and shiny!
Oh BTW, I commute on mine as well ....so it isn't just a toy :p

I commute on mine, done 40,000k on 20 months and it looks almost the same as it did when I got it with 12k on the clock

Actually better as I clean it better than the shop, plus its got a hugger now

i do it all the time....doesnt faze me...i dont mind being able to slide around a lil....
also i have always used degreaser on my chain....i like it, so i do wot i want...i pay for it...

Shops are lazy, and do a pretty piss poor job of cleaning them properly! Don't blame them, they really don't have the time to spend an hour or two cleaning each bike!
Well, all this talk of cleaning made me go out and clean mine again, and give it a nice wax

uber shiny, just the way i like it!
