Yeah the Suki's had a rep' for cracked frames, do they still have that problem or is that a result from coming down hard on the front after a wheelie?

Being on a Kawasaki site I can only assume you're referring to a ZRX1100. Not a bad little bike but as with the ZX12R I found that the acceleration was disappointing, particularly so on the ZRX. Today the ZX12R was in the optimum power band more than a few times, but just didn't go as hard as I'd expected.
ZZR 1100 I believe and from all accounts a great touring type bike and also good on a track day, daresay good for a fang too but there will be many more knowledgeable persons than I to advise there.
Only downfall is they're bloody heavy!
If you can't pick 'em up, you shouldn't be on 'em

i just putting my 2c in about the ZX10
I bought one about 4 months ago now.. intially i was scared of it before i had ridden it due to the bullshit everyone keeps talking about it.. yes the power is there, but used properly is not that bad. Great fun in the wet.. last nite on the way home from work, i eased it through 1st, 2nd into 3rd.. doing about 120 by now thought it would be alright to rev her up a bit... hit 9G and then rear wheel spin till she redlined.. change into 4th and off we went... Summer Rains...
My final judgement.. i am about to lower the gearing to get more accelleration out of it... as the power is only awesome above 7G... with the standard gearing, you are doing some pretty fast speeds by the time the power curve really starts to boogy..
This twitchyness thing everyone is talking about does exist.. but in my opinion it is for the better as you are riding the road, not just commuting over it... You are the boss of this bike.. and it will do more than you would be propared to do on it, until you get the balls to push it that is...
I would buy it again if i had the time again

Stangas - what bike were you on previously?
I've just been up to ask about the ZX10R... apparently every 05 ZX10R has been sold and they are not getting any 06 ZX10Rs until February.
Despite me being up front that I wasn't going to buy anything until later in the year, the dealer was quite helpful and will give me a call if they get a Hayabusa or used 05 ZX10R into the shop, as well as when the 06 model demo comes in.
Looking forward to it

After my brief ride on the ZX10, my impression was that with the tall std gearing it does make it feel very slightly less grunty than I thought it would, but maybe if the 10 had shorter gearing that would only do 114kph in first, 160kph in second etc like my 03 636 it would feel alot more of a BIG jump in HP.

Apparently going -1 up front is the thing to do on the ZX10 and ZX12, the reason they are geared as such is (1) for new riders to get used to them and (2) to meet noise regulations.

All going to plan I'll be looking to buy mid-year so by then I'll have had a good opportunity to check out the new model, ride a few other bikes and decide which I like best.
In the interim I've got braided lines, 6-pot calipers and a bigger master cylinder to put on the VTR... that should make it a little more interesting

mate the zx10r 06 looks abt 15 times better in the flesh than on a page....
and..honestly..the best looking bike on the road at the moment..well...soon neway...
