one other thing no one has mentioned is the servicing cost.
an across, being a 4cylinder will cost the same as any other 4cylinder bike, zx6-636-7-9-10 etc etc, 4 plugs, 4 carbies etc....the zzr and gpx being twins are cheaper.
i'd rather have a gpx/zzr with a decent bag on the back - works for me
and the across look shit

I have seen a couple of chicks around brisbane riding 10rs......slowly but none the less they can ride them and it gives me something to overtake on track days so i feel better.
I wont come into this argument too far but the zzr with a rack sounds sensible to me.
Just dont buy gnomes hack but it does show how durable they are.

my zx6r use to get a dribble more than 200km per tank...but i reckon a zx9r,zx10r wont get much more..and i kno i dont get much more than 200...

Hey Neka , my 9 will go 250 + before reserve and thats with spirited riding ! I have even taken it over 120 kph in a 100 zone .
The 9 will easy go 250k before reserve on the road .
You're being ripped off riding that Honda . See the light , buy a 10
