I will pay that one six,

In short the National Park is a known spot for motorcyclists to speed and where plenty have gone home either in an ambo or a wooden box so a little hard to complain when one does get booked, should be happy they only wrote it up for +20, by the sounds of it you were more than 30+ which I believe is an isn't walking ticket. If no one road that road then the cops wouldn't be there, they don't sit where they don't believe they will catch someone, simple supply and demand. It may not be morally right but that is the way it is.

Yes but the whole problem is that the speed limit has been dropped to 60kph from Garie to Otford - a country road with no exits or entries, 1 intersection.........THAT is the problem.

If it was 80 -as it used to be since Jesus played fullback for Nazareth - there would not be such a problem. They are not after dudes using it as a racetrack - they have turned everyone into criminals. The guys doing the crashing were not doing the old speed limit, so why will the new one help them ;) Also cars going around corners on the wrong side of the road because of push bikes doesnt help ;)

The reason I was given by the RTA was a fucking joke - they treat everyone like idiots.

Sunday was Blitzkreig by the HWP all over the region - funnily enough its all for my safety - yeah right  :x
