$130..... its from a kwaka 250 ($560 new)...... & sounds heaps better on the SV than it does on the 250'sdutch80au wrote:Looks noiceSo whats a "cheap" muffler worth from the wreckers nowdays??
Got the back brakes sorted as the exhaust now hangs where the Brake reservoir used to be, just waiting on rearset parts to complete the RHS.

Is that a standard rear spring / shock assembly Rob? Looks like pre-load is set to max......I'm told the SV650 shock/spring is a good upgrade on GPZ500's

ZX10R shock from Russ, the SV shock is useless, to get proper sag that's wherewaynemorgan wrote:Is that a standard rear spring / shock assembly Rob? Looks like pre-load is set to max......I'm told the SV650 shock/spring is a good upgrade on GPZ500's
It sits, it was set by S&W at the track & is close but not at the limit.

Re: Couldn't help myself again (warning its not a kwaka)
Thanks Rob - very interesting
the SV shock is almost a direct replacement for the 500 one which is even worse than the SV shock. Seeing the ZX10's one there has the brain ticking

Re: Couldn't help myself again (warning its not a kwaka)
Just gotta have room for the resorvoir at the top, as far as length goes & spring weight the SV is on par with the ZX10 ........330mm, 430lb/in approx.
