Looks like I'll have to keep the orange now.Blurr wrote:Love your work Nelso.
Your adapting to Nemo well
this appeals to me, getting a pair of KSRC leathers made up with our logo/slogans and a big fuck off KUDA on the backMikey84 wrote:If you visit the GIMOTO website, there's a program that allows you to design your own jacket or suit, pick the style, colour accessories, logos, materials etc etc
When I tried to get a set of Collins he had no bigger sizes left and won't have any until next year. He told me he only does one order a year and gets about 20 sets of larger sizes each order and that they all go withing the first few months each year. They were going to be my first choice (due to the price) until I found this info out, so I had to start looking at other options and found that the Berik have a little more room in the legs and arms so they didn't fit too bad.dave#3 wrote:I love my Collins leathers, and for about $750 for a 2 piece set I think they're great value.
when i checked last Gimoto were approx;Nelso wrote:From what I hear Gimoto are great leathers Mikey, but they can be a touch pricey. I wouldn't mind finding out how much a custom fitted set of leathers would cost through them though as Leanne is struggling to find a good enough fit off the rack. (she's been spoilt due to always having custom made leathers when she was racing)

Cow = $1800
+ $500 for Roo hide instead
+ $150 for custom fitting
+ $150 for all patches
Heaps of options like adding zips in the leg to fit over or under boots, adding zips to the forearm sleeve for venting.
2 choices of external knee/elbow armour. Being able to specify where you want perforated leather or not, aero hump size etc etc
'Custom' pretty much sums it up
no argument here with the quality and protectionSupafrog wrote:... Ahhh Mikey.. But if you have an Off...... (yes ye sthe whole life is woirth more then a bike argument)

If you can get a custom fitted cow hide for under 2K then it's not as bad as I thought it would be. It might be worth looking into them if Leanne can't find anything off the rack that she likes.un_majstk wrote:when i checked last Gimoto were approx;Nelso wrote:From what I hear Gimoto are great leathers Mikey, but they can be a touch pricey.
