Yeah you'll find the first few long rides, your rear and arms tend to be a bit sore, but you just do a few more and you'll be right. I was hell sore after the first few long rides on mine but now all good.

get the seat re upholstered. my old man does heaps of bikes (tourers, sports, off road etc) as the seats are always too hard for people, if your uncomfortable then do something about it, you'll enjoy the ride alot more.Everyone's arse is different so the same mass produced slab of foam doesn't suit everyone. I did my seat when I first got my zx6r made it alot more comfortable.

i did Canberra-albury via the snowies on a 250 (thats about 750km all up) the trick is to pace yourself, and work your way up to long rides.

bigger bikes do make it a little easier
