BT45s are awesome!

Sport Demons are good too, just as grippy I think but I like the feeling of BT45s more!

(funny tho the pirellis were great on the track..... I think they like the lower pressures more so I've dropped the pressure on the road now - big improvement)

What do you rekon about this:

-looking at the crazy excess you've got
-and adding that to the cost of your premium (difference between 3rd party and comprehensive every year)
-and if you're NOT gonna need to claim on an acco like this one on a fully faired bike
-me personally I wouldn't be paying for full comp. smileinbox.gif

Tim if it was a big one, he would want to have the full comp there..... this just goes to show how easy it is to have a stack with no one else involved & lets say the bike hit the gutter then there would almost certainly be more damage than just a bit of cosmetic.
+ If Brian has borrowed money for the bike, the lender would insist on fully comp so no choice there :?

When my IRC tyres delaminated on the 250 they threw on a BT45 on the rear under warranty, and I asked for a front to match but thats another story  The 250 with the BT45 rear was great in the wet even back from the Putty one night in the rain. Was great around EC too :) Never tried the Sport Demons but I couldnt imagine they are that bad... Try to analyse what happened mate! Tyres dont just give out like that (trust me Ive learnt the hard way too) :kuda:

Please take this as my ill informed advice: when the road is damp just ride like you normally do but tame it down a few notches. My guess is you've gassed it a little to hard from the lights for the damp conditions, a new tyre on the side and whamo she lets go! Mate Ive done the same thing out on the track in the rain on my 10. Its f'n scarey isnt it  One day you'll have a laugh over a beer with the next probie who does the same thing :kuda:

Glad to hear Richo, Andy and Shinny sorted you out. Good luck with the repairs.
lol i had like 20 missed calls from him when i woke up, shouldnt have left my phone down stairs.

Shame to see the bike get wrecked, but you got away with it a lot better than i did ;)

Did you get the parts Brian?

The tyres are worn in for like 2000kms... and with the hot days weve had and the riding ive done they have peeled away big time... so i i agree with that firey says... i did gas it a bit too much and when i started to fishtail i panicked and accellerated more... PLUS if you look at the picture of the rear tyre... thats all the oil off the road on there... i can feel it when i rub my thumb on it

No i cant get parts... all the known wreckers dont have any...

Im gonna have to source harder through other locations...

Just a thought, Brian wasnt there a recall on some Ninja 250's for leaking oil from somewhere on the motor??? If thats oil on the rear tyre this might be worth a looksie???

You just pop out the faulty part that was recalled and say it was their fault :kuda:
