And Happy birthday just saw it then :kuda: ......

Cheers,

I decided this mrning to postpone my birthday till i can get out of bed in less than 5 minutes.

I just saw a photo of the bumper that my head bounced off...it needs replacing, by the looks of things, my head hit the side hard enough to almost knock the fog light out of that side, then bounced off the road and back up underneath where it left a fairly hefty dent.

im starting to wonder more and more how i walked away with scrapes and bruises only

I use to drive a Paj

I dont think every car should be tarred with the same brush, except volvo's, hat drivers, and excels with young chicks doing make up , texting and giving their boyfriend a handie on the go

id really pursue the not getting her details
its a legal requirement that at any accident that the drivers exchange particulars.
im pretty sure the party not giving their details to the other driver can be booked.
.......i heard.

If thats the case then we can both be charged, as i was unconcious/dazed, and mostly didnt know where i was or what happened. either way we now know the other drivers details, as it turns out he (yeah, now its a he) sits about 5m away from my dad at his work.

I am going to be chasing the fact that the other driver hasnt been charged.

there is an upside to the police not giving me the other drivers details, the guys wifes car was broken into the night after we asked for the details, so im glad that we can prove that we didnt know who it was when it happened

The front of the helmet hit so hard that it has deformed, and the visor no longer fits.

This is where my head bounced off the guys bumper

So, Had I not been wearing a good quality helmet, I probably wouldnt be here today

I wish i could, but the insurance company dont want me to keep it, seems as though they think i might want to use it or sell it to someone.

but yea, it has served its purpose, and served it well

Thanks Dizzi

Update: Looks like I probably have a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder, so the doctor has kindly dented my invincibility complex by telling me it may require surgery
