They get found out as they grow up. Trying to take pot shots at random people is ridiculous. What happens when he screws around and does what he did to the wrong person. A weekend in hospital usually wakes imbeciles like that up. Police do F.A

Holy crap dude! I think you did the smartest thing. What if your bike got damaged.

As far as dealing with them, I've always liked the idea of stocks in the town square.

Flat out aggrevated assault. Or, it would be here.
Yep, exactly right. You don't have to actually be hit for it to be an offence. If you believed you were going to be assaulted then its an assault.
The problem would be identifying the little s**t. Should have just run him over.

Wayne, just tuned in, good to see you pulled your head in the other day, goes in saying, a strong percentage of society is pretty fucked up, the age is heavily varied and young Turds sometimes grow into old Turd's until they dry up and disintergrate, keep your chin up mate.

Thanks Bussa and to everyone else who's commented. I'm fine now but was pretty shaken when it happened. Called my psychologist and had a chat with him (he's treating me for post traumatic stress disorder for another matter) - had a bad day on Monday but the week has picked up nicely
BTW - until this happened I'd never red-lined my bike before - it really gets up and goes well

My point is......these little knobswallowers know that there are no consequences for anything they do
and they learn that in school, if a kid tells the teacher that mum or dad have given them a clip
under the ear the fucken school rings you (I know).
Most parents would probably shit but I told them that I would come down there and give the teacher a fucken clip too
Soft cock fucken pussy arse approach to bringing up kids is not working in some socio economic area's
so it's time to bring back the strap and allow boys to actually vent there frustrations and animal instincts with slug guns,
crackers, bonfires and general harmless hooning.
We are fresh out of the fucken trees and these cappo do gooder cockheads are trying to supress millions of years
of natural instincts overnight. I hope one of them gets bashed to fucken death so they can see first hand the results of the SOFTCOCK Americanised approach

Don't blame the teachers, blame the system. If I had it my way students would be held accountable for all of their actions and the consequences would be significant enough for them to remember not to make the same mistake again. It's the same as blaming police for criminals getting off light. It has nothing to do with the poor bastards trying to do their job with their hands tied it's the morons making the decisions higher up that are too soft.
I had a Tongan boy years ago (who also played footy in the school team I coached) was a bit of a dick one day so I called his father that afternoon (which I warned him I would do if he chose to do the wrong thing). When he came back the next day and told me he copped a flogging from his Dad because of my phone call I said I guess you'll choose to do the right thing next time and that I didn't like having to be the bad guy but his actions put me in a position where I had to. When I told him I would much rather him choose to act responsibly he realised I was looking after his interests and apologised to me. At no point would I have considered reporting his method of discipline to anyone (it was well known at the school that that was how the Tongan community disciplined their kids) and the outcome was the kid and I ended up forming a close bond and him improving his performance in school and sport significantly. Now, I have had to report on quite a few cases of abuse and neglect over the years but a parent choosing to discipline their kids the old fashion way doesn't really rate a mention compared to the things some of these other kids have had to deal with. Personally, I have a bigger issue with those parents with a complete lack of effort or ability to set boundaries for their kids and then complain that they are being treated unfairly when they get in trouble for being selfish little antisocial oxygen thieves.

I do blame "The System" mate, not the Teacher.
But there are over zealous examples in their case sometimes too
