A simple "yeah, I was on my phone. I'm an idiot, sorry." "No problem, don't do it again ok? Have a nice day." Not all cops are assholes.
I got pulled over in a cage once for scratching my ear......... After finally convincing the over enthusiastic, Highway Patrol (cough) Lady officer (cough) I wasn't on the phone, she then checked my tyres and everything else on my cage............ I was let of with a warning not to talk on the phone, when I wasn't on the phone, work that out..........

Just curious Ultramarine if you are in the Highway Patrol or another area of the force ???????

Don't know if all Highway Patrol would have your commendable attitude. I know a lot of coppers and from my experience even the General duties coppers don't like the Highway Patrol :? :?

I'm in general duties. If I was highway patrol it may be different as they have a specific job to do and you can't go letting everyone off.

I got caught for driving a Lexus Soarer V8 last year on my P's i admitted it and was apologetic (wasn't speeding or anything) he still gave me ticket :( 400$ and 7point fine. Lucky Mr Steinberg helped me out in court now i drive/ride slower than a granny...guess the system works? i just don't understand how i can't drive certain cars yet some "legal" cars are faster i.e lotus elise? golf R32? sorry about the rant just frustrated that we have 3 cars in the family and i can't drive any of them.

I think that's a bunch of crap, i thought they were trying to put in exemptions if a large capacity vehicle *was* the family car. The irony is though, you were legally permitted to learn to drive in it, but aren't allowed to drive the freaking thing afterwards!
