That's a pretty harsh year Nelso. Stick in there though mate it's got to get better.
Buy some bits for the bike, that'll keep you occupied

Geez Nelso, what a shit of a year.
As you can see from this thread, plenty of people care what happens to you so keep your chin up and life will improve.
Cheers

Found out from the surgeon that I need to have the op to get the loose piece of cartilage out so will be getting it done next week. He said I will be off the bike (and skis) for 6 weeks and Gingers creek will be just under 6 weeks later.

They are trying to get the approval sorted so I can have it done as early as possible so they have booked me in Tuesday next week. Hopefully he won't have to do much more when he's in there and it recovers quickly so I can get back on the bike sooner rather than later.
As for the break up, I found out on the weekend she is going to keep paying her half of the mortgage so that's one less thing I have to worry about and I'm getting a bit more used to the idea of moving on with my life and doing what I want so hopefully the worst of it is in the past now.

Good luck with the surgery - hope it all goes well and you'll be riding again soon

Good luck with the surgery and getting life back on track Nelso. As many others have said, the only way from here is up! 2006/2007 were a crappy 18 months for me, and I honestly credit my husband and some close friends with me still being here. Confide in and trust in your mates, they will help you through.
