BT020 <----- Worst ..... Tire....... Ever!

How come?

Ok was a bit of a fan of them for economical reasons...
They were built for a purpose, ok not the best out there at the time if you wanted pure grip but i found them quite a good compromise on the rear of the barge with a BT014J on the front and predictable unlike the original Dunlops

Still, did its job well with 7-8k kms of life. Which is absolutely brilliant on a 12R. ;) If I was more flush with funds i would have put renns' on, but would have been a waste really. I was replacing the rear every 4 or so weeks as it was...

ATM the shinko 5 rear I have on the 9R has an awefully flat arc profile and drops over at the last minute like a bastard, for me to even mention it it is bad. Soon as I have spare funds their going to the burnout gods.

 - I reckon they are actually a pretty good tyre.......not the French ones though, they are shite.

OEM Dunnies I think its a universal sentiment that they are crap. But the 208's and the Qualies are much much better then the OEM dunnies.....

8)

The 016 B'stones got my vote. :)

I have a Qualifier RR (had no choice af the time.. ) on the rear for the last 1000k's.
They don't have the same feel as the 'stones, but has done nothing wrong so far.

I agree with the 016 fronts having an a very low km life.

I had a look at my front today ( less than 3000k's ) and im now the proud owner of slicks

Its the second one i've had and its the first tyre i've had in almost 20yrs of riding that chews up fronts before the rear!

Any suggestions for fronts ? i was thinking PR2 or 2CT or Supercorsa or rosso ?????

They're the best tyre I've found so far. I liked the M3's when they were knew but once they got a bit shagged they felt ordinary on the 10
