That's a fuel injected big bore bike for you, carbs are smooth down low in comparison

Thanks rob, I didn't know that. Does a custom map fix/reduce it any?

i have not had KIMS kick in ever. i had a pritty scary moment going round a tight hair pin. come out of it and hit a patch of sand back end flicked out and just smoked up. i think KIMS is just a load of shit.
ur right the screen as my brother says makes it look like the bike has a dress on. looks average but for highway riding it is easier to get out of the wind. dont have to duck so low.
zx10r.net did a test basically for some reason going taking the gearing down makes it slower, nobody knows why. but it is so much better to ride.
you dont have to be going 200kph+ to hit the sweet spot. also crap trying to ride around side streets in first lol. front sprocket costs under 50 bucks. its worth just trying it.

Yeah it does get rid of the silencer. I just put one on.
But be careful it might devalue your bike R1
