 Awesome Glen, looks even better than I was imagining. Pretty "bling" too with the shiny bits. ;)

Anything officially mechanically different to stock with that "special edition"?

Must be looking a bit different now.

Re. spraying bits of her my cousin Ray could maybe help out/lend advice if you need it..... got his own booth etc. I can't vouch for his schedule but I'm sure he'd be interested in it, LOVES a project with passion and sexy automobiles.

Is it still in the "wearing-in" period? If so means no high revving/holding revs for periods etc yeah? Also a service at 1000km most important yeah? Just remember from reading my inferior mode of transports manual.

As Tim has picked up on , you are going to have to run it in a bit more  No fast laps till after the 1000 k service

Thanks Billy. I got your call last week mate but forgot to ring you back. Have a ball at the island.

I think the running in period will be two laps of EC while the new tyres scrub in and that'll about do it. Then it's 16,500 rpm here we come :D :D :D

Maybe 14,000 for the first session or two.

Good call Tim. I now remember Ray and his spray booth. Once i get the race glass sorted she'll be up for a dose of blackening.

Well after a week spent gatherings bits ie race Glass, slip on can, air filter (which came with the can), extra stand and tyre warmers, clutch lever and painting services (gratis from the great folks at Bennet and Elder Smash repairs), Saturday was spent stripping the toy and putting all the new bits on.

Only minor drama is a bellypan that touches the stupid under engine exhaust can. This will be modded and touched up this week and then she's all go (once I get a footpeg bracket)

Heres how she went. I must say what i originally thought were gay looking red wheels and forks now don't look so bad. In fact I think I likey..... :D :D :D :D

This week will be tyres, footpeg bracket hopefully and left handlebar (no that the old one is too bad) and we're off to the track asap......... :kuda: :kuda:
